Hi Nitrox,

I have the book where this article is. Edited by Safari Press. A compilation of many Finn´s articles.
A treasure!

Best regards,

PH

I prefer the feel and looks of original Mauser sporting rifles to all other rifles I have ever handled. I like them in mint condition, worn condition, in need of repair and everything in between - without telescopic sights unless the scope and mounts are old and German.

It’s a pleasure to read Finn’s writing. I didn’t know much about him and thought he had come along much earlier, until he mentioned a Remington 700 classic in .350 Rem mag.

Have a listen to his self narrated biography audio book.

Hi,

Agree!! It’s a pleasure to read He was a guns and hunting writer somewhat distinct to the other northamerican colleagues of his time...I like a lot Finn’s writing! By the way, his Guns and Hunting´s book chapter I like most is "Solo hunting". Perhaps because I agree with him on what he said. A pleasure to read!

I like his writings about his life in Kenya before he was forced to relocate to the USA.
