no, I dont mean the good old days from before the great war. a friend, being a lefty, was looking for a Mauser in 9,3x64 Brenneke and a suitable rifle was coming into auction now. I think the market for 9,3 brenneke rifle's with a lefty stock is very small because I got it for the starting bid (100 new factory cartridges). made in (19)71 from Eduard Kettner /Köln with an 98 K military action in the time when the 9,3x64 Brenneke was on the top and you have found probable more rifles in 9,3x64 than in 9,3x62.
the rifle looks like new and was maybe sleeping the last 40 years in the safe.

the best allround cartridge ever, allways beating the 375 H&H( sorry but its true)

no dreams

RWS ballistic:
9,3x64 19 gramm bullet muzzle velocity 785 m/sec 5854 joule

375 H&H 19,5 gramm bullet muzzle velocity 790m/sec 6085 joule

what will happen at 100 meter, where your target is?

9,3x64 720 m/sec 4925 joule

375 H&H 705 m/sec 4846 joule

interested what happen at 200 meter?

9,3x64 670m/sec 4625 joule
375 H&H 625 m/sec 3809 joule

and when you shot at 10 meter on ballistic soap the 9,3 brenneke will also penetrat deeper.
better case design, giving more power with less powder. you will like it or not!
