Dakota Double

I just came across an ad for Dakota Arms and their double rifle. I'm not familiar with the double world, so excuse my ignorance when I ask how long have they been producing them? Has anyone tried one? Opinions?

I think they are made by some Italian Company for Dakota. Not sure who but I seemed to remember reading that somewhere.
