7*72R, how is it?
      #178312 - 03/04/11 06:59 PM

Hello all.

The 7*72R, I guess it was made on the 9.3*72R brass. Or was it a different design, more or less a pencil cartridge? Like the 6.5*70R?
If it is made on the 9.3 brass, it is a caliber that is easy to use today...If not...Maybe not so easy to find brass.

Have a look at Cartridges of the World.

Always a good reference for these types of things.

old style low pressure round for combination guns, somewhere between 6,5x70R and 9,3x72R.
brass can be made from 9,3x72R
will be a roe deer cartridge only.

This site may be a help for the metric measurements.

There is also links at the bottom of the page for other rifle and pistol calibers other than metric.
