Thought you guys might be interesred in these ?

I just got back from doing a few late season Banteng hunts (We did well , got some Monsters) & picked these up from the PO .

Now one day I can fix up a heap of Lee Speed & BSA actions I have waiting !

G/Day Sarg, you have peaked my interest with that timber mate, where did you get it from thanks. I have a No1 Mk3 in 303.35 I pick up from the Gunsmith in early January wearing a shamefull synthetic stock. A Lee Sppeed inspired timber stock would finish it in the style it deserves.

I have a suspicion that they are a reverse import as Geoff has quite a few slabs of NZ timber.

I heard that Geoff Slee was real crook and not doing much work of late. If he is back at work and well thats good news.

Fantastic!

Great that he got the cheekpiece right too.
They're so often miss-shapen saggy colostomy bag looking abortions. The work you show there looks perfect.
Can't wait to see them on rifles!!

Cheers

Ok , Sorry for the delay on my reply !

Yes Geoff did these , I had a couple of butt stocks copied off a Speeder butt I had .

The other 2 are from his pattern (cheek pad one's).

He is getting better after his treatment & I hope he makes a full recovery !

I did ask him if he would take orders for the duplicated stocks & he said yes , I think that would be good , but don't go rushing him to get it done .

Cheers
