Farquharson on G E Fulton website

Have you checked out the antiques section of the website of G E Fulton & Son of Bisley, England? Several big bore single shots for sale, an Alex Henry 450 x 31/4 BPE and a Lyon & Lyon 450/400.

They look to have some neat stuff but quite high on the asking prices. Condition of most of the guns looks rather iffy - especially at the prices they want.
The Farquharson is a neat gun. It is a No.2 action (as they are classified in Winfer's book).
Looks like a Webley finished gun retailed by Lyon & Lyon.
7.5K GBP is close to $12K US which now I think is at the high end of the market here anyway.

Nearly all their stuff is top priced or overpriced, especially relative to the condition

I have handled the Lyon & Lyon and it is in fair condition, although well overpriced IMHO

The Alexander Henry whuch I have not seen, appears to be fairly priced, the third around that price in the UK, one of which I bought. The other is a .577 calibre (refinished/ reblued?) on Henry Krank's website for £3450 from which he will not budge

However, they are quite rare, and maybe I am wrong (not for the first time!)although many UK dealers just try to up the price of everything
