Here is a 470 sidelock that's just finished with engraving.

That is really nice engraving. The game scenes are very well done for that type of deep cutting, with a great eye for proportion. The scroll work is very clean. Even the lettering is well done, something often spoiled on nice pieces. With that said, its not really my personal cup of tea on a double but there are other things I'd like engraved in that style. Who was the engraver?

Sorry for the late reply... we've been tied up with the shows, and I just realized NE was back online.
The engraver is Michael Richter, and he's obviously very talented.
This is a boxlock in the works. The balls and bolsters will be in a deep relief floral pattern similar to the quarter rib.
This engraver is Scholz. He engraves for the likes of H&W.
A good engraver does not a good photographer make!
