410 or 28 bore for 22 hornet double

I've been asked which is more suitable as a 2 barrel set combo.
410 and 22hornet or 28 gauge and hornet

Also under and over or side X side.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Alan,
I used a .410 for mine. The proportions are just about perfect.

Did you use a SxS or O/u and what sort of accuracy did you get?

Alan,
I used a side-by-side, built by Zabala for Canadian Industries Limited. I shoot a handload of a flat-point cast bullet at 1600 fps. 10 shots into about 1 1/2" at 50 yards.
