I'm your huckleberry.

I have a like new MCA in .358 - a wonderful caliber. I'm sure there are many combinations for this rifle, but what I'm shooting is 46.0 grains BLC2; CCI250; 250 Hornady RN; WW Super brass. Mild and accurate. It should be a real killer.

As always, use normal precautions in loading ammunition. This load may not be safe in your rifle.

Mine's scoped with a 4x Kahles in claw mounts. You can see it here: Curl's MCA .358.

Thank you,I will look into that load.I will have a Redfield set up on mine with a 4x Swaro.I have 4 other MS's as well,6.5x54,.257Rbts,.308Win and 30/06 Deluxe.I like the full stock 50's and 52's. I had a .358 in a Winchester FW p/64 some years ago, however only shot factory when I could stand it.Sold it when they went crazy in $$$$
I noticed you are in Virginia,I am moving this week down to NC,glad to be getting out of Michigan...
Thanks again,Phil

Where will you be in NC? That's my old stomping ground. Graduated from UNC in 1976, and my first wife was from eastern NC (she's back there now, thank the Lord).

I recently got a M1903 but haven't shot it yet. Any suggestions on it?

The 1903 need/must/should have the bores slugged, but I've had three and all shot very well the 160gr Hornady bullet at 2300fps.

I started at UNCC in 1975.I'll be in the Charlotte area by the end of the week.I noticed you also attended the Vintage Cup,I went to the first 4 in NY. I will be rejoining the Carolina's Chapter this week....Small world!
