New 1903

Hi all,
Just put back together after having stock refinished and thought I'd share. Must say I'm really pleased with the first-class job on the stock. I rust blued the trigger guard, butt plate and magazine cover myself. Barreled action original blue; perfect bore. 1908 vintage. My new favorite deer rifle. . .

Nice M-S. You should bring it up to the mountains of western Virginia for a deer hunt.

I'm yet to shoot my 1903.
