About Us

The Shooters and Fishers Party (S&F) is the federally registered political party that is represented by The Shooters Party in NSW and elsewhere in Australia.

S&F is the voice of hunters, shooters, fishers, rural and regional Australia and independent thinking Australians everywhere. Advocating for the politically incorrect, a voice of reason, science and conservation.

S&F is about sustainable utilisation of Australia’s resources, Conservative in family values, we honour and value the family unit as the basic building block of our society. We believe in a fair go for all, but not at the expense of others.

S&F respects and honours our democratic traditions and those in our history who fought and died for us so that we may enjoy the freedoms that we now have.

S&F believes in a multicultural society, committed to Australian values above all others.

Hi Nitro X

As someone who has never contemplated voting for the Shooters & Fishers Party of Australia until now could you outline how their preferences in the senate will be divided up please? It is not a palatible thing to fill out all the boxes on the senate form on election day IMO (I did it once when I was young) so I would like to see how the preferences are distributed.

I will post a link to the information.'

However the above statement says to me, that you value your shooting and hunting sport less than a mere three minutes of your time in a polling booth once or twice every three or four years.

Not the cae at all, it is also a matter of accuracy writing down 1-100 + numbers could lead to mitakes or errors rendering the vote informal, then some poor lady or gent has to go through the numbers on poll night, this is why the prefernce system was simplified, and therfore AI think that it is a fair question to ask, its not that the time is more or less valuable than the sport for me, it is more about simplicity as opposed to difficulty. We all used to milk a cow, remember!

Group voting tickets. Select your state and scroll down to the Party to see how preferences are allocated.

Remember the Greens should be last on any Group voting ticket if you vote above the line for the Senate IMO otherwise you risk your preference going to them.

CF,

Yes it was posted elsewhere, probably on the Politics forum. A sad day, and condolences to his family and friends.

I read about a site: https://www.belowtheline.org.au/nsw/group_o.html which shows how OUR party distributes it's preferences. Please have a look and I know that the Greens come last but Fred Niles party as it's first choice ??

.

Because the parties work well together on real issues.

NSW.

Firearms laws, game council, hunting on gov't land, working against no fishing reserves etc.

The Shooters Party is actually in the Upper House of Parliament in NSW and actually achieving real results. The CDP also has Upper House members there.

What do you think the issues were?
