I've never hunted Australia or New Zeland but am seriously considering a combination hunting, or fishing trip to be combined with something that my non hunting/fishing wife would enjoy(no wise cracks please ). Can anyone point this Yank in the right direction with some ideas and contacts? Thanks.

I must add that mountain hunts are out, as I've got a very bad knee, and a surgically reconstructed ankle, the results of too many Rugby matches.

Mike

I will post some more or PM you soon, but we may be able to put together a NitroExpress.com group hunt in the Territory next year. At least I'm hoping something like that can be done.

Failing that I'm hoping to get up there again next year, maybe June or September, or both . I would love to hunt buffalo or even just pigs with you. I'm sure some of these NT ratbags might be persuaded to come along too, especially if we bring some beer.

Mike

Send me a PM with what you have in mind, or what you are interested in doing, just to narrow it down a bit. Of if you want post it on the forum.

PS For a non-hunting wife if you are looking for a fantastic location to keep her happy, Alan Moon and Far North Queensland would be a great place. Tropical beaches and weather, Port Douglas, Cairns, the Daintree Rainforest, the Great Barrier Reef and resort islands, the Tablelands, Hippy communities not selling commercial stuff , Aboriginal cultural centres, golf courses US Presidents have played on ...... Maybe something in there to keep occupied for some time.

And Scrub bulls and razorback piggies for you for a few days. Worth a thought.

Oh yeah, fantastic fishing too, inland, on the estuaries and also blue ocean water including fighting fish.
