My Dad with his first camel, a bull taken with Remington Sendero 7mm STW:

My brother with a bull (foreground) taken with Dad's 7mm STW with a neat shot to the back of the head (the bull never knew we were there, as we crept to the edge of a dune and peered down on him just fifty metres away); my brother was fever-stricken on this big hike, but didn't tell us and just kept battling along; I shot the bull in the background with my Winchester 1894 .30/30 as it tried to stir my brother's dead bull into action:

They sure look different to the photos we take these days with digital cameras; we've also learned a thing or two about taking better trophy photos since then.

Hopefully will hunt camels one day. Have seen some wild ones when hunting in Northern SA in the past when hunting gosts, but not in range.
