Hello Guys (from down in New Zealand)
I've been lurking for while, and see some folks I "know" from other forums, but lots that I don't !!
Now I have a real Mauser I feel qualified to make a "bit of a squeak" as a first post !!
The rifle in question is a "boltless" (sigh) 250-3000. The bore is very shootable and I am following up on several fronts to get (or have made) a bolt - and I expect to give a lot of $SS for one. All suggestions welcome as to where to look.
I don't have any reference books so it would be great if anyone can offer comments on this rifle, model, year of manufacture etc. Serial is 93198
Sorry in advance for the poor photos, when a real photograher shows up here I can post some better ones if there is interest.

Cheers
Foster

No interest here at all, I'll give ya 50 bucks for it without the bolt and I'll even pay the freight to Aus.
Seriously, welcome aboard and I hope you have luck with the bolt.
Cheers, Mark.

with patience you can find a lot of lost parts but I see no chance for the kurz bolt. the new mauser maker can make you also a new kurz bolt for a lot of money. I would go the best gunmaker in your area and let him short a standard bolt, the best way!

Welcome Tentman
We will be running Kurtz actions to original dimensions in the future. The date is not confirmed yet but it will happen. When we do I will be only too happy to sell you a bolt and firing pin.
It is well worth hanging on to.
If you check in on the web site:
www.johnrigbylondon.com
you can e-mail us and be added to the monthly newsletter where we will announce their availability.
Best Wishes.

I agree with Lancaster. There have been quite a few Kurz replica actions made up on shortened actions. Doesn't seem too complex a project for the bolt, pin and extractor only.
