At least that is my educated guess! What do you think? 12 bore paradox rifled boxlock ejector gun with a selective single trigger c bolted top.

Nice gun. I would agree, it is a Westley. I wonder if it was regulated for the Explora cartridge?

Very neat gun.
I suspect it was made by WR for Army & Navy.
Wonder what the charge is supposed to be.
Is the rifling still intact?

I was wondering if it would be regulated for the explora cartridge also! My next step is to get in touch with the university of Glasgow supposedly they have the records for army and navy so hopefully they will have the exact load that it was regulated for. There is also another set of numbers on the action and the barrels that i believe are the wr ser# so maybe they can help, and the rifling is perfect as well as the rest of the bore.

Did the previous owner shoot the gun? Does it say on the flats 1 1/4 or 1 1/8?

It is marked 1 1/8oz shot but no charge measurement, The previous owner hadn't shot it as it was a local gun shop. I plan to use the mold i got from another forum member (if the size pans out) and start out with a low loading and take it from there.

Probably a 2 1/2" chambered gun, 1100fps to 1250fps. Bores should be at .735 or?
