here is a pair of knives which i might have shown before,
but now iīve gotten the sheaths nearly finished... just the final moulding and colouring of them to go..

first there is a recurve in A2
it is 270 x 40 x 6,5mm and a blade 142mm
skales are of black paper mikarta and the blade has a coat of matt grey duracoat.

next is a little one in Damasteel
it is 167 x 31 x 2,5mm with a blade 83mm
scales are mammoth

Sweet. What do you use to bring out the pattern in the Damascus?

depending on the effekt i want from the damascus i use
different acids,
either sulphuric acid or hydrochloric acid

this time i used hydrochloric itīs gentler to the steel..

Very impressive RSK. I am a leatherworker and appreciate your knife sheaths, they really finish off those beatifull knives.
