And I think this was Donna Boddington's first ever trophy...

Hi Matt , did Bruce take the big one ?
A bit of a waste if he did as he ran/owned a ranch with huge ones all over it !
Indian blood line mind you , the big ones , not the smaller Ceylon/Sri lankan sub species that make up the main Australian herds !

Heres one of mine 32in , shot with a 22Magnum !

Yes that is Bruce's trophy - 32 inch, same as your beauty - funny you should mention the comparison with Texas deer - yes they get some huge chital in Texas but still a 32 inch deer in TX is still a very good trophy, especially in the wild!!!! So being a wild hunter Bruce was extremely happy!!

Man that deer of yours is a heavy SOB!!
