Any one see the doco on Lion`s last night on CH 2.I thought it would have been a little bit more graphic than it was,for me the kills and punchon`s were far too censored,with too much computerised crap----pleeeaaase give me lions doing their thing BBC.There was some great buff footage of fat heavy prime animals though.I do put forward a recommendation for " Lions and Hyaenas eternal enemies" put out by Nat Geo.it shows the best hyaena catch and kill by a lion ever filmed up close---get it.It has been shown on cable also. Well worth it also "the Deer and the Tiger" by the same mob,lots of sambar deer(ratty looking) with a ripper stag pissing all over himself like a billy plus the tiger doing his stuff on the deer--great viewing.

I agree mate the doco's are getting to bambish. I want to see the stalk,chase and kill not the stalk,chase and a bunch of fat lions laying in the shade.

I agree with you for " Lions and Hyenas eternal enemies" is the best I have ever seen on a program that big male that finally gets hold of the one hyena is just great. It just shows you don't piss off a male lion. The way he swipped the hyena off his feet and with one bite render him lifeless was just so great especially in slowmotion. I've seen it 3 times so far and definetely won't hesitate to make it part of a video collection.

Is it on video/DVD? Where can you get it? I have seen ad's for it but have never seen it.

Bakes old mate if you are into big moggys catchin` and killin` well this doco shows the best yet film close up of a big pissed off lion stretching out in slo mo nailing a matriarch hyena bitch,i bought it from National Geographic a few years back and have since seen it programmed on cable tv,another goody is the tiger in India with lots of sambar in it as well from the same mob.
