Unusual Mannlicher aperture

I won this last night and hopefully some can identify the maker of it.
I hope to give it a try out on my Greek MS carbine as the military sights let the rifle down.
Regards

George

Not too good. The main problem is that you need to modify the stock to fit it. Obvious now, but I missed this at the time.

Apart from the bluing, its in good condition and well made. You basically move it across to use it and then move it back when you want to operate the bolt. I like it but I'm not prepared to alter the stock for it.

If you should decide at some point that you have no further use for it, let me know.

It looks as though it includes a replacement bolt stop. Would it be pushed out of the way by the opening bolt, leaving the shooter to push it back if needed?

I have an old sporterised stock that is not too precious, so, if you want to sell it and xausa changes his mind, I might be interested.

I think its spring loaded and returns when the bolt closes again.

I can't be certain how it works but next time I have a stock off a MS, I'll try it out,
Thanks for the interest but I'll hang on to it for now.

Thanks George,
hopefully its performance won't impress you so much you decide to cut up a good stock
