Hi Guys
I went to Holts auction in London before Christmas and saw these
I would have taken more but did not have the nerve to ask them to clear the table!
I spent more than I should have but these are beyond me

James Purdey I did not see what this one made but estimate 15000 - 20000 GBP plus 26% commission

If the pics come out, many thanks to DD for detailed instructions

The Greener 8 bore made 10,000GBP plus 26%

The Purdey percussion was unsold at 14000GBP

I just love that Purdey percussion double. What a masterpiece. Just look at the nipple/hammer/fence relationship.
