Just interested in the origin of the Kynochs and that is a real good price. I paid NZ$100 back in '78 for 100 RWS 400gr FMJ projectiles. I still have 5 packets of original factory Kynoch 400gr SN for my 404, so don't really need any more just yet.

Congratulations... the rifle looks awesome... and i am sure it will work perfectly on Buffalos in your next African experience.

The 404 Jeff is an excelent big game cartridge, and has been forgotten many decades because it was not so fast, as others... and now people start to see again a good traditional low recoil cartridge, capable to deal perfectly with buffalo ( at the en is the most common hunted among the "big five").

Please keep us updated with the performance in the african bush !!!
