Australian International Arms to relaunch the A-10 in the US
      #148928 - 27/12/09 05:15 AM

From my friend Steve's blog. I hope they sell actions alone over here and also offer a 303 version. They will have a small but sure market if they do it right. The last time, their products were banned because they had some Vietnamese components. Apparently, they have resolved that issue now.

Here's looking forward to finding them in stores here once again!

Thanks Mehul!

More info needed!

I've been wanting a 7.62x39 bolt gun since I got rid of the unreliable CZ527.

Might be a winner...or no?

Anybody know about feeding reliability? Cost? Mag fit? Takes an AK mag, correct?

Thanks for the link, John.

OK, now, the big question...

Anybody can create a website with words like "concept calibers" on it.

Do these things work or are they cobs or worse yet, "Navy Arms-style" non-existent ideas?

The other site seems to indicate the 7.62x39 does not exist.

Anybody have any experience with one of these things? Are these things Jammamatic Junk or good rifles??

I'm really curious...

MK2 trigger {good}, Savage-style bolt release {cheap to produce but not necessarily good}, teak stocks {I have no idea...} and new-made action bodies {maybe good, maybe...}?

Tell me these things are not ghosts like the Sabati .600's...

9.3x57,

I've just got word from Steve, and, the rifles are definitely coming to the USA, again. Expect an announcement at the SHOT show. Apparently, the stocks were made in Vietnam earlier and that is why importation was blocked after a few rifles made it here. IIRC, Tristar were the previous importers.

This time, a different source has been found for the stock wood on the rifles that will be sold stateside. I hope, though, that AIA sell actions also. Some interesting projects should be possible if they do. I guess demand will decide what they eventually sell.

I saw these at the Houston NRA show a few years ago when some AR clone producer was going to import them. I was impressed and a bit disappointed when that didn't happen.
