I think I could live with a 10 1/2 Lbs Rigby Best 450 3.25" Nitro Express.

To bad whom ever writes there ads hasnt a clue. The condition report is way off obviously one would need to view it in person. A doctor friend of mine passed on this one which tells me something is a miss..

Unless i have read the advert incorrectly, all the .450 3 1/4" that I have ever seen was loaded with a 480 grain bullet

Hard to tell exactly what's there based on those photos, which appear to be lower-resolution than necessary -- which leads me to think it's on purpose.

What, they sat in a lodge and shot game driven to them ?

I take good DR's hunting, the temps and conditions in Aust and Africa would be similar, people sweat, unless it spent it's whole time wrapped up when in Africa, that gun looks like it has been refinished - at least the wood.

What kept me from buying it were the cut barrels. If it weren't for that I'd have had it shipped to JJ for inspection.
