WHO BUILDS 600 NE TODAY. PLAIN NOT ELABORATE ONE THAT IS OBTAINABLE BY THE MIDDLE CLASS.OR HOW MUCH WOULD I EXPECT TO PAY FOR A USED ON SHOOT ABLE.BOLT OR DOUBLE I DONT CARE ANYMORE JUST WANT HELP

Cheapest would be a .600 OK.
When they first appeared some made them for about 3k$.

Talk to Butch Searcy. I've taken elephant with his .577 and played with his .600.

BTW: He built the .600 Nitros used in Jurassic Park. he's got one. The actors carried rubber guns as the .600s were too heavy.

Have a look on Guns International, there are a few .600 Nitros from various manufactures with varying price ranges. I suppose you have to pay for top quality. Although i did like the look of the Verney-Carron .600 for $24 000.

I see Butch makes 4 bores as well, has any one every bought one? How about a 700?

I've shot Butch's 700. Heavy, loud, lots of push. A .577 seemed harder.

Ask him if HE shoots the 4-bore. I've got photos of a 600 bullet laying in the bottom of the 4-bore's barrel.
