Advices in relation to setting of optics on the Soviet rifles Mosin , SKS ,SVT , SVD.
Who, that can advise from a new optics for setting on these rifles including brackets, rings and base for fastening .

The scopes for the SVD and the Medved and other rifles in the old days used to be made at the BC Rubin Optmechanical Plant at Lytkarino near Moscow. I have been there and met the head in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Prof Stanislav Shtandel. The plant was privatized in the mid 1990s and they still function though I have heard that they concentrate more on lenses and blanks these days for export to Germany and the USA. You would be surprised how many scope manufacturers use Russian lenses.

Not sure how things are between Kyiv and Moscow these days but you should be able tog et scopes from them or through one of their export associates who also have a presence in Ukraine like V/O Obschemashexport.

Thank you for an answer.
I do not have doubts relatively Russian - the Soviet optics for the rifles indicated higher .
Possibly I put a question unright!
What from producible in the west optician, bases and brackets for fastening of optics to the rifle ( I talk about the producers of America, Germany, Austria, Japan, South Africa and other countries ) can walk up for rifles which are indicated higher.

I used his method on a mosin I used to own. It was very easy to install if you have a few very basic tools & skills of gunsmithing.
