Has anyone ever seen or own a Lee-Speed in 7mm. If so how was it marked for caliber e.g. 7x57,7x57R,.275 Rigby or .275 Rigby-Rimmed?

Yes, and advertised by BSA as 7mm.

......not a Lee Speed, but I built a 7mm No 1Mk III a couple of years back. Modified and fitted a 7x57 Mauser barrel to fit the smellie action and used the 7x57 rimmed cases from my BRNO combination. Pretty much no other mods, mag works, feeds the same.

I had seen the 7x57mmR Lee on another forum I was planning on copying that project. I was curious how much work it was to get the barrel fitted to the Lee action.

Hi Remp,

Here is a quick scan from a BSA page showing the 7mm calibre. If you haven't seen it, thought it might be of interest.

Cheerio,

Roy.

A Pepsi Cola Can... On which forum did you see mention of a 7mm Lee Speed?
