Who wants to but my 8 bore?

Hi guys,
Ineed some cash so I'm willing to part with my Steve Zihn 8 bore muzzleloader, it's the one in the avatar for this forum. You can view much better pictures than I could ever take of it on Steve's photobucket page. I thought I'd give you guys first crack at it. If anyone's interested pm me.

Does this English-Purdey-style 8 bore have the wide steel English butt plate, or a recoil pad? None of the photo's show the full length rifle.

Thanks Mehul. It did hurt to let it go, but it found a good home.

It has a wide steel plate. Was not bad to shoot at all and felt much lighter than it's 10 lb plus weight. Perfectly balanced. I know yall are tired of hearing this, but Steve does some fine work. It really has to be seen, handled, shot and hunted with in person to fully appreciate it.

TKs for posting guys - now THAT's a gun I'd go after Cape Buffalo with. The barrel profile & wedding band is identical to my flint English 20 bore smoothbore.

Yep - she's a beaut - just look at that English-Typical hammer-nose/fence/nipple relationship. Appears to be the AlexHenry lock - they've wonderful main springs too- perfect geometry - well executed & cheap. I'd not sell my 14 bore for that and it's much plainer, with straight grip, straight barrel, short tang and no checkering - yet!
