I'm one of those fortunate folks that gets Veterans Day off every year. So this year I took advantage of the last good day before the snow begins to fall and did some pheasant hunting - what a great day it was. I thought I'd share my outing with all of you... some days just go too fast! Christopher

Hi Guys,
Once again I got out pheasant hunting. This year there was just a skiff of snow on the ground, but otherwise it was very pleasant!

Good hunting!

That's fabulous. I haven't seen a wild born pheasant here in Pennsylvania for over 20 years. The birds hunted here are virtually all stocked by the game commission. They don't even fly. I don't even bother hunting them here any more. If I want to shoot wild birds, I'll go out to Montana and combine birds with an antelope or deer hunt.

Good to see a dog in working condition too instead of the many we see in way too fat condition.
I that even with the age of the dog that you are still using a collar on him. I use one sporadically every now and then for training purpose`s but dont have it on all the time.

A good working dog makes all the difference for a successful bird hunt. They are truly amazing animals.
