I called last week and was told they had just submitted paperwork to the ATF for import approval for the 500, 577 and 600. They said I should expect about 2 months to get approval and import started.

Did they say anything about delivery of the under 'WMD' 500 bore rifles?

No, just that they had ATF approval for them. I even asked when the 470's would be delivered and they told me "soon, we will notify your dealer" If you want one have your dealer order it as they are just making a waiting list right now.

I just sent an email to Sabatti directly and asked them when they expect to ship the first batch out. I'll let you know if and when they reply.

There are two pictures of a double rifle from EAA, would that be the same one?

Yep, that would be them.
It's interesting that this one has a single trigger as well as the ones in the catalog while the ones they're getting in Canada are twin triggers.

really guys come on for the selling price were you expecting a H+H royal,the 45 70's are here. nothing in large calibers,they have one large caliber a 416 rigby but they are not selling it i tried to get it but no luck i think they are holding it for the shows, as slow as inventory is coming in.the inventory of 45 70's is small also so if you have an order in for that caliber i would check with your dealer.there is no problems with the large calibers they are just not ready will keep you posted,thats all i know for now

Where did you find the Canadian information? I'd be interested to know who the dealers are.
