new female in my life
      #144421 - 26/10/09 05:12 AM

as if i did not have enough problems in my life a agreed to have a new female in my life as well, this one though looks like she will be more of use than abuse

presenting cirkeline, 4½ months old english springer spaniel.

she is my wife's first hunting dog, and we are very exited about her.

she is allready reacting pretty well to verbal commands, and she has charmed everyone here in the household

best

peter

Ha ha, you did get her afterall.

Looks like a lovely dog and hope to see her working on the pheasants one day.

What do the two "boys" think of the new female sharing their home?

What a beautiful dog. Congratulations! The pup has a very noble and intelligent look about her. I was "this close" to getting an English Springer Spaniel, but went with my other favorite English dog, the Setter.

John, niicky says that next time you come around she will do the driving in and you and i will man the peg's and just do the shooting

Peter-

Congrats.
She has that uncomplicated and transparent look.
How refreshing!
I'll have to get a camera out and photograph our PitBull Terrier, Priscilla - total dreamboat companion to our Plott Hound, Jed.

Cheers

well guy's and lady off course

it looks like the little princess will be going for her first shoot this sunday, but as a spectator only, it's the first shoot in the syndicate and i invited niicky to join me as my guest, i know she will be bringing her camera if it is not to wet off course, and i will see if i can get a few snapshot's of the lovely ladies.

she rode around with me all day and vent with me to the shooting ranges as well, not a shake or a scared look, she might turn out allright in the end

best

well i were out shooting yesterday, but my better looking half stayed at home and took care of the kids and the farm.
Apparently she also had the time(i need to give her more jobs) to train with the springer.

she does show some promise though, nice energy level when working but still abel to wind down when inside.

so a few pictures:

i am taken her out with a few dead birds later today, to see if she will continue the good form.
she might even be a halfway decent dog after all

best

peter
