Hi: Where do you BP rifle and pistol builders buy your supplies. I can do some maching and threading but don't want to try and cast trigger guards etc. Dan
Thank You Tatume. Yes i have just started to learn how to use this internet thing for more than reading forums.I checked those sights and everything i need is there to buy. Dan
Also check Jim Chambers Flintlocks. They have a .com website that is well worth visiting. Buying locks direct from them is the best course of action and their rifle/gun kits are superior.
Tip Curtis Frontier Shop is a good place to find barrels and almost any other parts as well. He generally has most Green Mountain stuff in stock and often has barrels TOW and others do not. P.O. Box 203, Cross Plains, TN 37049, (615) 654-4445. tipcurtis@bellsouth.net
Hi Dan: I have looked at the other sights and they have great stuff.I am going to do one more kit gun before i buy some gun building books and start from scratch. I know you don't think it is correct historically i am going with TOTW fullstock hawken flintlock because i like the way it looks. I like the jaeger rifles but hawken first.I have been practicing in letting on some old walnut sharp chisels. Dan
