Just thought I'd post this here. A buddy of mine who I have hunted with is selling his Kreighoff 500/416. If you are interested in it here is a link to the AR Thread. Kreighoff 500/416

I fired 2 shots from this double rifle earlier this year at Camp Cooley. From about 40 yards one soft and one solid were just about touching. This rifle shoots good. The recoil seemed a little faster than a 450/400 3", but less than my 450 No2, or the 470 I have shot.

Looks like a good price for basically a new rifle.

Wish I had the money & lived in the right country, would definatly buy it. I hopefully will be able to buy a beutiful double like that one day, although I might save my money for a nice english double, or maybe something more practicle like a Searcy or a Merkel. I will think bout it more indepth once I get my psych degree finished and get my own practice, until then I'll have to put up with my bolts...

Yeah but he gets to charge as much a lawyers with his paper framed and posted on his wall. He'll be rolling in the green and can afford all the doubles and African trips to his heart's content.

PS I actually aren't in the field of psych that deals much with nuts & loonies, that's clinical psych. I deal with serial rapists instead :|

After you've been doing a few cases with those animals, you might want to change your field. I knew of someone who had to handle cases for serial rapists, and after about a dozen cases, he decided he would rather prosecute them or catch them. He became a cop and later became a DA.
