I have just discovered this place. Seems that lots of folks from the AR forums meet here too! Damn, one more website to visit... Well, just wanted to say 'Hi'.
NitroX, have you finally managed to get that pig sticker?

King Baboon

Welcome. Glad to see a Knight of the Long Sharp Sticks here.

No! I have not yet ordered my boar spear and if I don't get a move on it won't be here in time for June.

And that will leave no time for practice! By the way how do you practice with a boar spear?

That is the main problem! You cannot practice unless you know a pig farmer who will let you stick a couple of rosy piggies per week at a good price! But I doubt he will let you even if you are his best friend .
In all seriousness, if you want to do spear-only hunting, the best practice is to go jogging a lot and stop smoking! For the rest, just keep your blade razorsharp, and rely on your wildest instincts : the final act is easy, you will know what to do without thinking!

For those who do not know here, my screen name here is different than on AR, where I'm MacD37 and here DUGABOY1 . I just regestered here today!

Hey, this looks like a department of Accurate Reloading? Seems like the guest list is close to the same! Nice set up here.

Feels like fresh air of opening day of an early July Safari, here! Glad to see this forum, and look forward to some real discussions!

Gryphon, These two names are the product of one where I used to work before retireing, "MacD37", which was "Mac" short for my last name, "D" for the first initional of my first name, and 37 year of birth! This was required by the company on the their computer system called "SABRE". Since I used this name at work, for buisness, I used another for personal use at home, but had to have the origenal work name, as well, so I could access my company retirement information on "SABRE" after retirement. Most of the private sites I post on I use DUGABOY1, but when I regestered on Saeed's web I accidently used the MacD37 name from habit of 20 years of useing it. When Saeed's website crashed I tried to change it back to DUGABOY1 but it wouldn't let me! So there I'm stuck with the MacD37!

Hope this is, at least, as clear as mud!
