porro vs roof prism

Am looking for a good inexpersive bino.
saw the pentax dcf wp ll and got to looking at the same in a porro prism
what are the thoughts on the two kinds of bino configuration and on pentax and nikon atb monarks

As a Pentax DSLR user I am led to understood that they manufacture their own glass (from raw material) and grind the lenses in house.

You get what You pay for and especially the bino is a very important piece of gear for us hunters...

If You just hunt in daylight, why donīt take a Swarovski SLC 8x30 - compact, but great optics...

Cabellas had a wounderful sale on nikon monarch atb 8x42 at a buck fifty and they seem REAL nice. They are a great improvement at the wee corners of the day over my last pair
