nearly 10 inches bigger....however, we're trying to figure out the age of that sheep or at least if it really died from old age. He said it didn't have any trauma to it that he could see....thus the old age guess. I didn't get to inspect it as I was not in alaska with him. We just have the horns.
If anyone has any experience with Dall sheep horn's I'd appreciate any thoughts.
You could contact a certified B&C or SCI measurer through the local chapters. It is usually about $30 to get the horns properly measured and documented.

no they better not charge if they do turn them in i am a measurer sci and rowland and ward send me a pm with a email and i will send forms so you can green score then if you want i will get you a measurer to make an offical score as a pick up
