Talley QD mounts

Any of you out there used above mounts on a light calibre double and can tell me whether they return to zero after removing then remounting ? thx in advance, Mike

Hello Mike,

Not used them on a light double, but had a set on a 375H&H magazine rifle for years, shooting mainly 300 grainers.

Just to see how good they were one day, I took the scope off (a low power Pecar), and fired a shot with the open sights @ 100 yards, then replaced the scope and fired a shot at another target pinned beside the other one. Did this three times to give three shots with the open sights and three shots with the scope, removing and replacing the scope each time.

End result: 3 shots with the scope - 1-1/4"
3 shots with the open sights - 2-3/4"

Fine system in my experience.
