I've only told a handfull of you about this project, but am pleased to say that we're almost done with the prototype.

Action shape is still undergoing some final opinions/shaping, and stocking will be complete in September.

We do know that it is a true round-body with trigger-plate action. No visible screws. Available - initially - in 22 LR.

First production model will be done in October, and we'll have half a dozen or so on display at the shows in January.

Hopefully an affordable, small calibre DR.


Are you planning, yes, planning, on making any of the other
smaller type calibres ? (Although I think 17 HMR is too small IMHO).

I was thinking 22 Win Mag or 22 Hornet or something with
just a little bit more grunt in it than a 22 Rimfire.

Thanks for the positive feedback. We've kept our cards pretty close to our vest on this one, so it's nice to get some feedback.

Nigel - No problem with other small calibers. The little 22LR just seemed like an obvious choice for a roll-out model.

Tophet - I don't want to let the price out just yet, as I need to get some more details on production costs and volume. It will not be terribly expensive though. And as soon as I have that nailed down, I'll post a price.

I read a book as a young bloke called 'Taller Than Trees' by John Gordon Davis. In it an old elephant hunter hunts the last massive bull with a double in .218Bee. It started my love affair with Africa and if these came in .218Bee I would add it to my collection. Wouldn't be too hard to mod I suppose.

Definantly interested even if in .22lr.

From the stress analysis, we've determined that this little action could hangle up to (and icluding) the 30-40 Krag... so anything below that is possible. The Rimfire, Hornet, the Bees, etc... all make sense.

Me too, in .22 Hi-Power (or Super), .22 Hornet, or .22 RF (in that order of preference). Of course depending on price.

Will they be pre-set up for QD scope mounts of some sort?

Generalwar, you are not allowed to shoot any game in Spain with a .22LR due to richochets, .22 Hornet is OK though best, Mike
