WSSM & WSM

What are everyone's opinion on the new Winchester Super Short & Short Magnums? Particularly the 243WSSM. I haven't fire any of them yet but I am thinking of buying one of the super shorts. My choice would be the Winchester Model 70 Super Shadow, but there are a few nice rifles in the WSSMs now.

I'm waiting for the 338 WSM to come out and then I'll look at one in a Browning A-Bolt though CZ has the Model 3 in the short mags. The rifle is a new model and is made in the USA. As for the WSSM I hear that they just scream out of the barrel but I have not heard any owner reports yet.

I know a writer for Sporting Shooter in the May edition found he could get the velocity of the 243 with a 64gr bullet (i think, it may have been a 55) up to 4500fps which is just amazingly high. The main problem I have heard of is reduced barrel life and when reloading there have been problems with the primer bursting after only 2 or 3 shots! At the moment I think I will wait a few months to see what owners have said about them...
