The weapon dont weigh much - so it kicks a bit, but it shoots fuc.... great, and i love carrying it !!

That's one of the anniversary models, 1 of 100 or something.

I shot one over here when they first arrived.

Kicked me like a mule and I am not a recoil sensitive guy.

=) Yes it is nr 92. It do kicks but not to bad IMO.

Yes i have done som hunting with it here in Sweden, and i also had it with me to Zimbabwe last year, but the airline company lost it so i had to borrow a 416 Rem instead =(. I have made a hunt report in the Africa forum.

I know what you felt.
I to had to use a borrowed Rem when my baggage with bolt and ammo for my beloved 425WR didn't turn up till after my last Safari was finished.

What is is that makes it kick so badly?
Why would it be inherently lighter than an original?
The barrel contour doesn't look light, and from the catalog pictures, stock proportions are close to original 416's like Rigby's.
Maybe a wood density issue...

All in all, a great gun!
