Holy Westley!

I would like to introduce the newest member of the family.

His name is Westley Richards, and he's a proud little 600 Nitro Express from London England.

Brought in to this world in 1998, with extra locks, tools and a hand made polished oak case to sleep in.

This 11 year old adolescent is adorned with tasteful best quality engraving by Marcus Hunt, and will accompany me to Africa in August.

could you explain why they chequer the flat panels in front of tear-drop? Elmer Keith ordered that on one of his rifles, too, but the purpose is lost on me.

It's a common option on a Westley, has little purpose besides adding a little "bling" to the rifle. My vintage 350RM Westley double has it as well.

Sorry for the delay in responding to all of your comments, truth is I'm not on the computer much these days.

Thank you all for the kind words.

I have had a chance to shoot it now and it really is quite impressive and accurate. Weighs a ton, but the recoil is not that bad. Will be hunting big tuskers in August with it.
