Very nice photos, the ducks you have there, the specie? (I'm guessing a type of puddle duck but I'm not familiar with them) Are they both drakes and hens or two different kinds? Nice country too, looks alot like spots here in Montana.

Bird behind fence is a very odd coloured Turkey.

"agricultural implements"?? the semi-atuos?? or the shitty car

Pardise ducks(shelduck) Bird with the white head is the hen, black one is drake.

Some video.

Nigel shame on you for not knowing cobber!

Ag implements? Come on,nothing beats a five shot auto on the ducks, sometimes the twin barrel has to stand back and let see what rules!

Sometimes a bloke likes to maximise his bag.

Many a time I have taken five out of five passing or lifting birds (or more) with my pre J.Howard (aka the little dog turd) auto Beretta, something the finest of the finest doubles whether U/O or SxS cannot do!

Gryph,

I thought it was a Turkey, but it just looked so odd with the colouring of the feathers - and to be honest I hadn't seen many even on the farms I have been on in NZ !!!

I knew what Paradise ducks are.

Now now, no snobbery.

Us Aussies are envious of the Kiwi's use of such "agricultural" shotguns.

T-P

Looks good and fun.

Mount Doon in the background":

North Island or South Island?

A nice bonnet load of waterfowl. Might have to travel interstate for a duck shoot this year.
