Alan

One thing I would like to know is

1. Did Holland get the action and / or barreled action
and make the rest OR

2. Did they just shoot and regulate the gun and engrave
the name on it ?

What a tantalizing look at my dream rifle. Is it for sale? Will you accept my youngest child as part payment ???

That is a lovely piece of work. Plz do a write up.

Sorry, camera decided to act up so will have to take some more pics next weekend.
No I dont own the rifle and it is not for sale.
It was built by H&H on a Kurz action, one of two rifles made for a gentleman .
Its partner also in 250/3000 was a double rifle which is now in France.
More photo's will follow plus more history.

Beautiful rifle. Can't wait to see more photos. Appears that H&H built this up from a barreled action.

appears to be a rear sqare bridge from the photo, unlike rigby or manton or westley hollands were almost always barreled an regulated by holland, most of the time they made there own bottom metal ,in this case it is original oberndorf ...paul

Alan,

Lovely rifle! Yes, there's many of us waiting for more pics whenever you find time. And of course, the history as well.

Congratulations to the owner on his fine taste and thanks to you for posting the pictures.

Good hunting!
