Oops

Don't know how I managed to get this in the Mannlicher Forum - maybe someone could move it to the Mauser section?

Thanks

mlg - VERY nicely done. Love the 'filled' finish - perfect and that sculptered grip-cap with checkering - beautiful.

I like that MLG - verrrry nice. Can you tell me more about the gunsmith - I've never heard of him. His stockwork looks excellent from what I see there. Looks like NZ Walnut - is it?

Cheers.

GG

First outing to the range with a little load developemant produced a 3 shot group of just on .5" - using 250gn TSXs. I am more than happy..

I will be getting some 286gn Lapua Megas for it shortly.....

This is about the 4th time I've looked through the pictures above - I do like that rifle!

The wood looks very similar to California Claro/English blend, but paler in colour - more English with a bit of claro in the butt - quite beautiful! It's similar to this one, but mine has more red in it, depending on the light, of course.

Mike

It was almost 2 years but it was that long because Gordon moved from West Asutalia to Tasmania & had to re apply for his Gunsmithing license & that took some time. He could not work on it during that transitionary phase.

I was quite happy to wait though!
