I'm hooked.

I finally took out my Ruger No1 in 416 Rigby to the range. I used Woodleigh 410 grain projectiles over 90 grains of 2209. Cases were a mixture of Norma & Federal with 215 primers. I had never used a Ruger No1 before - one thing I did notice was that the Ruger had very positive extraction and a crisp trigger. I'm now hooked and am thinking what next to get.

How did she shoot? How did you find the recoil? Did it have the factory recoil pad on it?

She shot well. Recoil was managable while wearing a shooting vest with a shoulder pad that had foam approx 5 milimetre thick. It had a standard factory pad.
