Spent sometime reading your info on swaging, awesome. "A Beautiful Mind" comes to mind. I have a few 223 dies that will be sacrificed. Thank you very much.

Just what I need another project..................

Caprivi: My next 9.3 castiproject will likely involve use of .375 molds. As you see in the link, accuracy can hardly be beat with the NEI bullet, but it does have some dimensional peculiarities. Nobody there even knew what caliber/gun thatmold was designed for originally.

I have a flat point Lyman .375 gas check mold I'd like to give a whirl resizing bullets from.

Hunting in mind, but merely HP'ing the point on the NEI would probably do the trick.

One of the great "funs" about 9.3x57 and x62 and .375 H&H rifles is that they are ".38-55 Performance-Level" guns in cognito. Setting them up to take 250-300 grain bullets at 1500 to 1900 fps is a cinch and recoil is eliminated.

Exactly. One of these in 38/55 mode 90% of the time with a few Elk Crumplers in the pouch is exactly what I am thinking.

Years back I had a older crippled friend who loved to shoot and thought the 38/55 was the finest "lead" gun known to man. He was old enough that the sights and lever on his 1899 savage where not working out. I built him a scoped bolt gun in 38/55 using a G.I. bring back Wehrmanns Gewehr M-98 action. The barrel was long gone, so I screwed in a 1-12 twist Bauska. Nice deep grooves. Left it a little heavy and fitted a old Fajen varmint stock. He was back and business and I had the honor of lying it next to him in his "box" at his funeral.
