Well, the one I was interested in is gone. The guy who had first rights bought it while I was there on Friday. To add insult to injury, he had a Westley Richard's "Farquharson" takedown in .303 that he was showing the shop owner; I thought he was going to trade it for the Rigby and that I was going to get lucky. Turns out he was only showing it off; he traded a rare Winchester 94 instead. If anyone is interested in the other gun (the engraved one with claw mounts) let me know and I will pass along contact info.

i just noticed the engraved rifle here is built on a small ring mauser probably an early rifle,and looks like it spent some time in a german/austrian gunsmith shop ....paul
