Well, I joined a while back but have yet to post, so I thought I better introduce myself.
My name is Jason, I own a pawn shop with my brother, in Benbrook, TX. I am 40 years old, and just getting into the big bores. I am a native Californian, and lived 17 years in the Sacramento area, hence my user name. Sac for Sacramento and Toller for my hunting dog, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. I currently own a Browning Safari .375H&H (push feed), a custom mauser in .375-284. I do have an action off at a gunsmith, it is a Ruger MkII action, and is going to become a .404Jeffery. It will have a Lothar Walther barrel.
I have become truely addicted to the big bores.
My good friend and I just booked our first African safari, for 2010. We will be in Namibia, and I just can't wait to go!

Welcome , sactoller. Another TX bigbore fan. I hope my first Africa safari is Namibia. After research and reading and asking, I think it would be the spot to start. Look forward to some posts.

Yes, I believe it is as bad as Savage 1899/99 collecting. Building rifles in general is very addictive!
