Oscar:
They look like a fine thing to me.

The one pictured is an overtly American import complete with US grips, apologies (it's not mine!). Much shorter barrel too of course.

Spanish handguns are greatly underrated IMHO. A friend of mine collects them and he has some amazing stuff!

I'm not too familiar with Spanish handguns, but the one I have heard of that was a good revolver was made by Llama. It wasn't just another S&W knock-off.

Thanks for your answer, I also know the weapons factory of Llama. Both Llama and Astra as well as Star exported weapons to the United States. In my opinion Astra and Star have a higher quality than Llama.

A greeting and Happy Christmas,

Oscar.

Ovny:
I have a small collection of ASTRA pistols. .25 cub, Mod 400 (1921) 9MM Largo and Mod 600 9MM Parabelum. All are very rugged and accurate pistols. I particularly like the 1921. It handles and points very well and is hard to have better accuracy.
I also have a STAR super, 9MM Largo (with extra barrels) Ported 9mm Parabelum and also another Largo barrel in Stainless steel. Great shooter and the take down is so simple.
Of Spanish revolvers, I have a Buenos Aires Police issue (circa. 1890-1900) in .38 largo. It is very much like the Smith and Wesson M+P. One I do not have any longer is my Llama Camanche .357 mag.
This one served me for some 15 years and then traded in when I wanted to go into more classic weapons.
I agree with Marrakai. Spanish handguns are very under appreciated, at least in the USA.

I am glad to know that you have a nice collection of weapons Spanish, I had a Super Star S 9 Short, as well as a Police Astra's 357 Magnum (revolver that had the possibility to exchange the drum for a 9 mm Parabellum, but I do not I found this drum). These weapons are sold and bought the Astra from 44 Magnum that is what I have now, well also have a Glock 27 (40 S & W) and a Norinco 1911 P 10 (Np30) of 45 ACP and I think that handguns I will not hold more. I now want to buy a rifle from 416 Rigby or 458 Lott, that's why I've opened several post on the subject and even a survey.

A greeting and thanks,

Merry Christmas to all,

Oscar.

I like the service weapon (I am the police in my country), wearing an old BM Star, an old iron , I have in my locker because I'm in a bureaucratic service, but despite the years that had the gun, shoot jejeje .

Hello, I'm going slowly getting things for my Astra revolver, I just received an original box and manual gun. I Pavone revolver a few months ago and I'm waiting for some original wooden grips. I have prepared when you upload some picture on the page, if I find the way to go.

Oscar.
