Not so much hunting, but an interesting 'use enough gun' safety note.

A farmer south of Auckland has been rushed to hospital with a gunshot wound to the head after a freak accident following an attempt to euthanise an injured water buffalo.

Yep, you can say that again.

I've had the odd bullet ricochet off the head.


When they look at you, the horns and slope of the
forehead makes it just at that angle that it can
easily make a round glance and go off.

If I was a tropical monsoon swamp dweller, and somebody transported me to New Zealand, I'd be stepping in front of cars too!

Now thats not very nice !
It almost hit 18c today & it hasn,t snowed since yesterday in the South Is
And in a month or Two a fair few up your way will be thinking of Euthanasia on them selves & others !
