Hello! Anybody know's the cartridge 450/60 Express? It's probably a old german blackpowder cartridge for hunting big game, may be a 11,5x60R?

think I know it good enough.

its a cut down 450 BPE but the "facon allemande", very close in power to the 11,15x60R Mauser round. reloading stuff is allready available, including brass from Horneber.this catridge have seen the good old days also in Elsaß-Lothringen before such brand new smokless rounds like 8x57 IR killed it.
if you ask me, dont trust this new smokless powder hype, it will go away.
I have a gras M73 action laying around here and look for a 500 BP barrel to make a 12,7x60R 500 single shot from it some days. the bolt head of the gras will fit the 32 ga/500 BPE size.

RARITÄT SEITENSCHLOSS Thieme& Schlegelmilch /NIMROD Kal. 12/65 und- .450/60 EXPRESS. Schrot Nitrobeschuß. Bj. 1913. Es wurden bis 1925 nur 150 dieser DREISCHLOß - Seitenschloßdrillinge gebaut. NIMROD Nasenverschluß. Zustand 100% original, nie montiert gewesen. Die Nimrod-Gewehrfabrik hat zu ihrer Zeit den Thieme-Drilling auch in der Ausführung "Metallteile poliert" angeboten, das war dann Hochglanz. Waffe hat 3 Seitenschlosse!!!!
Sehr schönes Schaftholz. Kugel war die alte deutsche Patrone für die Kolonien, entspricht Kaliber 10,3x60R, Leistung mit neuen Dorfner-Patronen 2400J auf 100m. Die Schwarzpulverpatronen zünden schon eindrucksvoll, sind hochwild-erlaubt und sind was ganz anderes als moderne Pulver, hat mir immer eine Riesenfreude gemacht. Die Visierung ist mit den Dorfner-Patronen auf 50m eingeschossen. Ganz wenige Stücke nur gebaut!

You will probably have to modify the rim of the cases,if formed from 450 NE brass.
There are 2 variations of the 450 express,the german one and the english one.Not always these two interchange
